THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM IS COMPRISED OF TWO PARTS:
1. The Level One mentorship assists interns and entry-level professionals in acclimating to their new position. The mentor will support the professional in both understanding the structure and protocol of office policies and procedures and in becoming a vital, integral member of the firm.
2. The Level Two mentorship period begins at year 3 with the firm and focuses on enhancing the professional’s development through discussion of long term goals, objectives, and strategies.
GOALS OF THE ELLIN & TUCKER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM INCLUDE:
To establish support systems and strengthen communication between professionals in order to develop and maintain a work environment that encourages team building and embodies Ellin & Tucker’s work ethics and values
FOR INTERNS AND NEW HIRES:
Clarity of work environment and procedures, to better assist the professional in their transition into the firm
Develop a network of resources and relationships that the newly hired professional can draw upon as they gain proficiency in their work with the firm, through one-on-one training and regular feedback
FOR EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS:
To support the professional in their advancement in the firm and to identify additional potential training/technical/educational advancement possibilities, as well as the means for fostering leadership potential (through opportunities such as CPE presentations, work assignments and committees, article writing, community connections)
