Baltimore, Md- Ellin & Tucker, the Baltimore-based Certified Public Accounting and Business Consulting firm, announced today that the firm’s audit and accounting practice has passed its 11th peer review through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Peer Review Program. Upon review of the firm’s practice, it was determined that Ellin & Tucker met all professional compliance standards in 2014.

As a participant in the AICPA’s Peer Review Program, Ellin & Tucker is required to have an independent review of its audit and accounting practice every three years. The independent evaluator reviewed Ellin & Tucker’s system of quality control to perform accounting and auditing work, granting the firm its 11th peer review pass. Ellin & Tucker has also successfully designed and complied with its own internal policies and procedures system for 30 years.

The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, non-profit organizations and federal, state and local governments.
