Ellin & Tucker is pleased to announce that Elisabeth (Lisa) Dembeck, CPA, has been promoted to principal in our tax department.
“Lisa embodies the firm’s core values and has earned the respect of her peers through her hard work, tax expertise and dedication to not just our clients but the greater Baltimore not-for-profit community,” said Aileen Eskildsen, Ellin & Tucker’s chief operating officer. “We look forward to seeing her continue to grow as a leader with our firm.”
Lisa joined the Ellin & Tucker tax team in 2010 and specializes in not-for-profit clients and high-net-worth individuals and their families. As an extension of her dedication to philanthropic clients, Lisa also chairs the firm’s Giving Back Committee, which organizes community service days and internal fundraisers that benefit worthy causes and organizations throughout Greater Baltimore.
“I can say with absolute confidence that I will never be happier in public accounting than I am here,” says Lisa. “Ellin & Tucker feels like a big family, both in how we support our clients and in the respect every employee receives. My career has always gone the way I wanted it to progress – not according to a predetermined plan. That level of consideration for my own goals is truly exceptional.”
Lisa is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the Baltimore Estate Planning Council. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Towson University.
