We are pleased to share that our very own Aileen Eskildsen, director and chief operating officer, has been elected to serve as treasurer on the board of directors for the Maryland Legal Services Corporation (MLSC) – a not-for-profit organization that works is to ensure low-income Marylanders have access to stable, efficient and effective civil legal assistance through the distribution of grants to not-for-profit legal services organizations.

Since established by the Maryland General Assembly in 1982, MLSC has made grants totaling over $354 million to help provide services in nearly 3.7 million legal matters. The organization currently provides funding to 36 not-for-profit grantees throughout Maryland.

“I’m proud to be working with such an impactful organization like the MLSC. As treasurer, I look forward to supporting the organization’s mission to ensure all Marylanders have access to affordable civil legal services,” says Aileen, who was appointed to the board by Governor Hogan in 2017.

Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and Executive Alliance. Born and raised in Baltimore, Aileen and her husband currently reside in Towson with their two sons, whom she passionately cheers on during every sporting event. Congratulations, Aileen!
