Ellin and Tucker Celebrates Leadership Promotions

We are thrilled to announce the promotions of Ben Bloom to manager in the audit and accounting department, Jen Gavin to supervisor in the audit and accounting department, and Colleen McNulty to supervisor in the tax department.

Originally from Howard County, Maryland, Ben Boom started his professional career with Ellin & Tucker in 2019 after graduating from University of Tampa. He joined the firm as a first-year associate. Since then, he has earned his place among the firm’s emerging leadership, providing excellent client service while cultivating relationships with clients. In his new position, Ben is looking forward to an increase in client engagement. “I love working with our clients to take on challenges and help them achieve their goals,” said Ben. “To them, we’re part of the team, and their trust pushes us to keep getting better.”

Jen Gavin, who is from Carroll County, joined Ellin & Tucker as a first-year associate in 2021 upon graduating from Salisbury University. She is a member of the firm’s Giving Back Committee and a leader in the firm’s mentoring program. In her new position as supervisor, Jen hopes to take on a stronger role helping foster the next generation of talent. She said, “I’m excited to keep growing in my career at Ellin & Tucker, and I hope to use my new leadership role to guide and support my teammates in their growth as well.”

Colleen McNulty, a Calvert County native, began her journey at Ellin & Tucker as an intern while attending Towson University. After graduating in 2021, she returned to the firm as a first-year associate. Over the years, her hard work and determination has earned her the well-deserved promotion to supervisor. Colleen says her favorite part about working at Ellin & Tucker is the people. “We’re a team that cheers each other on,” she said, “both in and out of the office, and we genuinely want to see each other succeed in every part of life. My teammates motivate and inspire me every day.”
