Ellin & Tucker Celebrates Fall Promotions

We are thrilled to announce the promotions of Colleen McNulty to senior associate in the tax department, Jen Gavin to senior associate in the audit and accounting department, and Ben Bloom to supervisor in the audit and accounting department.

Originally from Calvert County, Maryland, Colleen McNulty began her journey at Ellin & Tucker as an intern while attending Towson University. After graduating in 2021, she returned to the firm as a first-year associate. Now as a senior associate, she looks forward to serving as a mentor to the next generation of Ellin & Tucker talent. “I feel consistent support from my tax team mentors,” Colleen says. “They show me they care about my growth by taking time to help me learn and encouraging me to ask questions. In my new position, I look forward to supporting newer employees the same way so many others have supported me.”

Jen Gavin, a Carroll County, Maryland native, joined Ellin & Tucker as a first-year associate in 2021 upon graduating from Salisbury University. Since then, her hard work and determination has earned her the well-deserved promotion to senior associate. Jen says her favorite part about working at Ellin & Tucker is the people. “I love working at Ellin & Tucker because of my teammates,” Jen says. “The sense of community within the firm can be felt across all departments and all levels. Even after spending all week working together, I look forward to having fun with my coworkers on the weekends.”

Ben Boom, who is from Howard County, Maryland, started his professional career with Ellin & Tucker in 2019 after graduating from University of Tampa. He joined the firm as a first-year associate. As he steps into his new role as a supervisor, Ben is thankful for the opportunities the firm has given him to help him achieve this professional milestone. He says, “The beauty of working at Ellin & Tucker is that you’re given the freedom to create your own career path. I’m thankful for the opportunities the firm has given me that have led me to this moment in my career.”
