Ellin & Tucker is pleased to announce that our very own Stephanie McGuire, CPA, director at the firm, has joined the Investment and Finance Committee of the Community Foundation of Harford County (CFHC) – a not-for-profit organization that promotes long-term philanthropy to meet the present and emerging needs of Harford County and its not-for-profit community.

Founded in 2006, CFHC builds and manages permanent endowments and gifts providing donors the ability to contribute to the future well-being of Harford County and its residents. The organization works in partnership with other not-for-profits, county government, businesses, and individuals to build a strong and vital community.

In her new role, Stephanie will help guide the organization on financial reporting matters and internal controls as they continue to connect Harford County residents with causes that are important to them. “I have always had a strong passion for giving back, but especially these days with so many needs it’s tough to know where to start,” she said. “I look forward to working with the Foundation to provide long-term support as they grow their endowments which can lead to new income streams for years to come.”

Stephanie is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), Loyola University of Maryland Advisory Board and Abilities Network Board of Directors. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Loyola University Maryland.
