At Ellin & Tucker, we care about more than just numbers. We care about our beloved Baltimore community and the people who make it great. For our Giving Back Committee’s (GBC) final event of the summer, we partnered with The League for People with Disabilities, giving our team members the opportunity to connect with members of the disability community.

The GBC began by hosting a firm-wide back-to-school donation drive in July in support of The League’s Youth Autism Services program, collecting a variety of items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, colored pencils, and more. Then in August, when the not-for-profit held a volunteer event on their campus, our team spent the morning with members of their Adult Medical Day Program working on an art project coloring bird windchimes. Our volunteers also got to pack the backpacks with the items from the firm’s donation drive.

For almost a century, The League has been serving the Baltimore community with custom solutions through innovative programs that meet the unique needs of people with disabilities. The League’s programs support independence, job training, and socialization. They assist more than 2,000 individuals and their families every year.

Ellin & Tucker is proud to support The League for People with Disabilities and the incredible work that the organization does to help the lives of people with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
