Ellin & Tucker’s Giving Back Committee Hosts “Pancakes with a Purpose” Fundraiser

Spring may be the busiest season for those of us in the accounting industry, but tax season didn’t stop our team from holding an event to help our neighbors in need. In late March, our team was delighted to start the day with a delicious pancake breakfast in support of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. 

The firm’s Giving Back Committee (GBC) hosted a “Pancakes with a Purpose” fundraiser supporting St. Vincent De Paul, a leading provider of community services to people suffering from the effects of hunger, homelessness, and poverty in the Baltimore region. Since 1856, the not-for-profit has been working to ensure those impacted by poverty have the resources and support to achieve their full potential. 

At the event, GBC members served up pancakes hot off the griddle with toppings from strawberries and banana slices to rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips, whipped cream and more. Our team enjoyed the delicious pancake bar in return for their donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
