Ellin & Tucker is proud to share that our very own audit and accounting principal, Renee Collins, has been awarded Towson University’s Outstanding Alumnus award by the university’s department of accounting.

The award was presented to Renee at the Accounting Awards Banquet in early May. The annual event celebrates the achievements, service, and leadership efforts of Towson University’s accounting students alongside alumni, faculty, and the advisory board.

The Outstanding Alumnus award is given to an accounting department alumnus who has shown significant support of the department, engagement with students, and achievement in the field of accounting. In Renee’s acceptance speech, she told students that attending Towson University will open so many doors for them, as it did for her, but it’s their own determination and grit that will lead them to their success.

“Towson has played a huge role in my life, and I’m committed to staying connected to the faculty and students. I want to do my part as an alum to help Towson’s accounting students prepare for the professional world and watch them flourish,” said Collins.

Renee graduated from Towson University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She currently serves as a member of the Towson University Accounting Advisory Board.

Congrats, Renee!
