We are thrilled to announce the promotions of Kimberly Wilhelm and Travis Klein to principals in the tax department, and Zach Bromwell to principal in the audit and accounting department.

“Recognizing the strengths and accomplishments of these talented individuals is an exciting development in our firm’s seventy-five year history,” says Ed Brake. “Kim, Travis, and Zach are outstanding representatives for our clients, our business community and for the future of our firm.”

Kim Wilhelm has been a leading tax advisor to many of the firm’s high-net-worth clients and their businesses for nearly two decades. Developing sophisticated strategies to enhance and preserve individual and family wealth is Kim’s main area of expertise, one that has made her a knowledgeable resource for her peers and colleagues. She progressed as a natural leader within the tax department, attributing her growth as a leader to the firm’s support over the years finding the balance between career and family. A graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, Kim lives in Baltimore County with her husband and enjoys spending time with her children in Baltimore and Atlanta, Georgia.

Travis Klein, a native of Pennsylvania and graduate of York College, has been an integral part of Ellin & Tucker’s tax practice for nearly a decade. While he has excelled as a client service leader for many of the firm’s most influential commercial real estate and construction clients, Travis also provides tax planning and consulting services to the firm’s multi-generational private family businesses. Fostering the next generation of leaders is important to Travis, which is why he remains a leader in the firm’s mentorship program. Travis resides in Baltimore County with his wife and son – and one on the way!

Zach Bromwell, a Baltimore native and graduate of Loyola University of Maryland, began at Ellin & Tucker as a summer intern. His growth and success in the firm’s audit and accounting department over the past decade is a testament to the trusting relationships he has built with the firm’s clients, and the consistent high performance he has demonstrated in providing excellent client service. In addition, Zach is also a leader in the firm’s audit and accounting technical standards committee, which oversees programs to maintain the professional staffs’ understanding of and compliance with current accounting, financial reporting and professional standards. Zach resides in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters, which has earned him the “longest work commute” award.
