Ellin & Tucker Applauds Next Generation of Leaders

We are proud to announce the promotion of two Ellin & Tucker professionals to the position of manager: Amy Calandrelle of our audit and accounting department, and Chandini Shah of our tax department.

Amy Calandrelle began her journey at Ellin & Tucker as an intern while attending Towson University. After graduating in 2017, she returned to the firm as an associate. Since then, Amy has earned her place among the firm’s emerging leadership, providing excellent client service while cultivating relationships with clients in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries, as well as not-for-profit organizations.

Amy says her favorite part of working at Ellin & Tucker is the opportunity to connect with her coworkers. “Having a chance to spend time with colleagues talking about things other than accounting is what makes the relationships at Ellin & Tucker so strong,” says Amy. “As a member of the firm’s book club and Giving Back Committee, I have been able to bond with my teammates and form new relationships with members of other departments.”

Like Amy, Chandini Shah also participated in the firm’s 2016 internship program and joined the firm upon graduating from Towson University the following year. She then began her career as an associate and has become an integral part of the tax practice. Chandini has emerged as a leader working primarily with the firm’s not-for-profit clients as well as high-net-worth individuals and their families.

Chandini is grateful for the Ellin & Tucker mentors that have supported her along her professional journey. “Over the years, I have found comfort in the relationships that I have built with the more experienced members of the tax team,” says Chandini. “Whether it’s asking a question, looking for some advice, or catching up about life, my teammates are always there for me and want to see me succeed.”
