Baltimore, Md. – Ellin & Tucker, the public accounting and business consulting firm, announced that Todd Feuerman and Jared Rosen, directors in the firm’s audit, accounting and consulting department, have been tapped to co-present two sessions at the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA) 2017 Annual Conference and Exhibition. The sessions are “Leasing as We Know it vs. Leasing in the Future”, which will compare the advantages and disadvantages of construction equipment leasing arrangements and “Management Succession & Ownership Transfer Techniques”, an interactive presentation which will provide a comprehensive look at succession planning for construction firms. The conference will be held at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ, June 3-7, 2017.
The CFMA Annual Conference and Exhibition connects businesses with key decision-makers in the construction industry, both nationally- and internationally-based. The four-day event includes educational sessions as well as social and networking opportunities, a 5K Walk Run and a golf tournament. Feuerman and Rosen will present both sessions on Tuesday, June 6. Todd Feuerman, CPA, CCA, MBA, has nearly 30 years of experience providing audit and accounting, tax, consulting and management advisory services to general contractors, specialty trade contractors, construction-focused banks and surety firms. He is an expert consultant for companies experiencing significant financial crises and facing foreclosure. He also provides credit support and evaluation services to regional and national banking institutions and surety firms in the mid-Atlantic region. Feuerman is a seasoned public speaker, webinar host and author of numerous articles in publications such as CFMA Building Profits, Construction Executive and Construction Global. He is a member of CFMA and serves on the organization’s publications advisory group.
Jared Rosen, CPA, MBA is a leader in Ellin & Tucker’s quality control department and chair of the peer review practice. With an accounting career spanning more than 15 years, his major responsibilities include financial reporting, tax, compliance and management advisory services for privately held businesses. Rosen’s strong grasp of the quality control standards and assurance requirements for accounting and auditing practices enables him to effectively interpret general technical accounting and financial reporting standards, both old and new, for the construction industry.
